Web22 jun. 2009 · If you bent the blade you will need a new blade for the mower to run correctly, otherwise the centrifical force is way out of whack and the motor will quit. As mentioned, try turning the blade manually. If it turns way way too easy then maybe you broke the shaft, but doubtful. WebTurn the mower up and lean against a fence, tree or whatever. Take a wire or otherwise stiff brush and clean the grass off the blades and from around the turning mechanisim. Squirt some WD40 on the Turning element and see if it turns more rapidly by hand. Plug it back in the wall and give it another try.
